Many ice rink operators are currently facing big challanges: because of the rising electricity prices the economical profits are declining. The REALICE solutions are in use everyday, wherever the demand for technology and responsibility towards nature are particularly pronounced or the economic viability is endangered. Below, there are several examples with which we significantly reduce the energy and water consumption and thereby make an important contribution.

Besides the environmental benefits the REALICE solutions are developed to control the efficiency in the best possible way. A series of actions and products are needed to reduce the energy costs up to 30%. In order to achieve this goal we offer an all-round carefree package.

ICEmaster®

Our technology is managed by our digital cockpit called ICEmaster® that monitors and controls ice rink energy consumption at the touch of a button considering all relevant parameters. The accesss to the metereological data, ice temperature and the glycol fill level is even possible by phone as well as the adjustment of the refrigeration machine.

Green glycol, refrigerant gas and the perfect refrigeration machine

Green, 100% degradable, recyclable glycol is used in all of our projects. We are also one of the first manufacturers to work with refrigerant gas. For reaching the best energy balance the choice of the right coolant is as important as having a suitable refrigeration machine.

ICEplus® cooling mats & ICEconnect

Up to 30% less energy consumption than conventional EPDM or PE sheets. The calculation models are TNO/TÜV approved and subjected to rigorous laboratory testing. Because its cooling tubes have larger inner diameters, our white cooling mat system ICEplus® guarantees lower energy consumption thanks to the better flow of the coolant. Our ICEconnect system, which connects our ICEplus® mats, guarantees the steadiness of the high flow rate and the coolant efficiency.

Ecomelt®

In 2020 we developed Ecomelt® – a system that closes the water cycle by intelligently melting, cleaning, and reusing ice removed by ice resurfacing machines.
